Drift Down is the debut EP from Philadelphia-based Last Ledges, a collaboration between Jason Presley and John Conley. Jason and John are Philadelphia transplants: an Oklahoman raised on Leon Russell, JJ Cale and tornadoes; and a Mainer from equal parts Prince, Tom Petty, and dirt driveway basketball. After several respective stints with bands in NY, the UK and South America, they made Philadelphia their respective homes 15 years ago.

Drift Down was written, recorded and engineered by Conley and Presley and mixed and mastered by Quentin Stoltzfus (Light Heat) at Philadelphia’s newly minted Silent Partner music production studio. The album enlists a stable of talent to weave a diverse but inter-connected narrative of rock and pop songs that pack emotion and ill ease into a visceral audio experience.
